the road trip::tales of ambassadizing the nation

We had the chance to be at a youth pastors meeting in Pittsburgh last week. Such a cool opportunity to connect with people about Momentum (which is at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh this summer). Please keep praying that the Lord opens doors with the contacts we've made there.

We saw 2 OB 2008 alum this weekend at the Meyersdale Grace Brethren Church. Both of these girls are being discipled, and are taking it so seriously. I hope hearing (reading?) these stories doesn't get old for you, because man it gets us going. These girls are stretching and growing in such cool ways. They are sharing their faith, they are more loving and gentle, they are passionate about following Jesus, they are looking for opportunities to serve & encourage. They are, truly, a joy to be around.

On top of that, we chatted for a while with their pastor & his wife, Randy & Judy Haulk. They are passionate about seeing their youth discipled, and want to learn more and more about discipleship so they can be more effective. Praise the Lord for what he is doing in and through this group of believers!!

To top it all off, we got a flat tire :) No worries, we'll be in York on Wednesday, and Dad takes good care of us and our car.
